A help page for the November 2008 Mumbai attacks.

We have all seen how terrorists held Mumbai hostage. Over 200 lives were lost and more than 400 are left injured.

We have all played our part, condemned the attacks too. However, most of us have asked one resonating question: WHAT NEXT?

Next comes action
We believe there is a need to immediately help the wounded and the families of those who lost their lives. And to build a small corpus for disaster relief in Mumbai.

We looked at what is needed, talked with NGOs on the ground, took their counsel and settled on a simple goal: to raise US$ 1 million dollars - that's about Rs. 5 crore Indian rupees.

What will we do with your money?
We are partnering one of the most reputed NGOs in Mumbai, the Bombay Community Public Trust (BCPT) to help rehabilitate those affected. Another NGO, GiveIndia has also graciously accepted to be the online channel for fund collection.

Here's what BCPT aims to do with your money:

How do you donate?
Click on the "Donate Here" link above.
It will take you directly to the BCPT's donate page which means your money is in safe hands.

If you are an Indian, US or UK taxpayer, there are tax benefits to be had. The BCPT on their part, will process every donation and provide you with a receipt for the same.

Thank you for visiting us here and supporting our cause.

Very Best,
The HelpMumbai team.
